The Flash is the fastest man alive. He is the protector of Central City and Keystone City, fighting against evil using his super-speed and a dedicated sense of heroism. His legacy, the Flash Family, spans throughout history tapping into the enigmatic Speed Force to gain their powers. Jay Garrick was the original Flash of the Golden Age, and a founding member of the Justice Society of America.

Kid Flash is a speedster and sidekick to The Flash, a member of the Flash Family. His costume has the reverse color scheme of his mentor. Originally the character behind the mask was Wally West, the nephew of Barry Allen, who received his super-speed powers in an identical accident to his adult counterpart. West was Kid Flash for many years until Barry was killed during the Crisis on Infinite Earths and Wally graduated to assume his position.
