Make the most awesome toy Advent Calendar for Christmas, Birthdays or even Easter. When you make your own countdown calendar you get to load in the most awesome toys and no candy. A few years back I reviewed a Hot Wheels Christmas advent calendar, considering it's cost I felt it had very few worthwhile things and nothing special on Christmas eve. I always liked the larger 20 packs of Hot Wheels cars and if your careful they do sometimes appear at a great price. The $1 a car is an amazing price in Australia, but thats the normal price in the USA. the packaging of these 20 packs of diecast cars is a perfect start to make a great DIY advent calendar. It takes very little time to transform this into something that's better than any Christmas advent calendar on the market. Possibly one of the better ones I have seen is the Thomas MINIS advent calendar because it had an awesome toy on every day to the countdown to Christmas. My son used a LEGO advent calendar as countdown to his Birthday (the LEGO calendars were on sale the first many months before December). I think what makes a great advent calendar is being random and having a real mix of new and old toys. Picking up older toys is great because they are either heavily discounted or can be found in charity shops or markets for only a few dollars. The awesomeness of your home made advent calendar is only limited by your imagination. And making your own stuff is very satisfying to do. Doing it yourself you also avoid the horrid Christmas Tax that seems to be applied to anything with a Christmas theme.
Small toys for custom advent calendars can be Thomas MINIS, Trash Pack, Minions, Angry Birds, Transformers, Five Nights At Freddy, Minecraft, My Little Pony, Shopkins, Lego and just about any toy thats has a small surprise toy.
An Advent calendar is a special calendar used to count the days of Advent in anticipation of Christmas. Since the date of the First Sunday of Advent varies, falling between November 27 and December 3 inclusive, many Advent calendars, especially those that are reusable, often begin on December 1. Some argue there should be 25 days in the countdown but most are set at 24 days.

Giveaway open to everyone! If your are entering and under 18 get permission from your parents / caretakers please.
Just leave ONE comment without an edit of your Christmas wish list. If you really want to impress me, tell me about the special toy that's behind the silver marker area I speak about. Careful because long comments get seen as spam. Edited comments can't win.
Does Santa like naughty or nice people? Is greed a good thing?
Earlier comments will be given weight when selecting a winner because they would have done the hard work in relation to the special toy in the custom advent calendar. This is not the sort of giveaway to land late comments on thinking your going to impress me. The closing date may change especially if trouble starts happening. The winner will be contacted by the YouTube PM system but be careful. There are some channels on YouTube impersonating me so be careful if you see a mail that looks like my channel. Once a winner is chosen and contacted they have a week to reply back with a full international mailing address. If I get no reply another winner will be chosen. Sadly and all too often people enter a giveaway and then can't get permission to give me their mailing address. Good luck is your entering the giveaway.
