Who's stealing the toys? Maybe Santa does a special Christmas shopping spree by grabbing the nice toys in store to send out again come Christmas. This is my second study of toys that are stolen, removed or played with in toy stores. By far the most common toys I see taken are blind bag toys, Thomas MINIS right up as a major winner. Kinder Surprise eggs are often half eaten and toy insets stolen and anything LEGO exclusive is always too tempting for those looking to profit. There are some retailers where I see this activity at chronic levels and sometimes these toys that have stolen components go back on sale at a reduced price. But who exactly is removing these toys from the boxing. Is it children, adults or a very twisted Christmas Elf trying to get a bunch of toys for free.
