Here's the recipe to follow along at home :)
Small batch of chocolate cake (or brownie!) baked in the loaf tin & cooled (recipe below)
200g (approx) White Chocolate - I like Nestle White Melts in almost every country
1 pack of Marshmallows
Graham crackers (or digestives, or plain vanilla cookies if you're not in the USA)
Gold Lustre Dust (I used https://www.divinespecialties.com Gold Dust)
About 5ml clear Alcohol like Vodka (yes, it evaporates, no it won't get you drunk, yes you can feed this to kids, no you won't break your AA rules - the alcohol totally evaporates and just allows the gold to spread and then dry, but if you're super fussy, use pure lemon extract instead)
For the DOLLA BILL - Choose your own currency if you'd prefer, but I printed mine across 2 pieces of A4 paper on a home printer, then used clear book contact covering to stick the two together and give the 100 dollar bill some strength and durability. Or you can go get a single sheet printed on A3 paper
Small batch chocolate cake recipe (basically the cupcake recipe from my book, just 1/2 quantities)
115g salted butter
160g caster sugar
115ml water
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
170g plain flour
30g cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add water eggs, oil & vanilla & beat until just combined
In a separate bowl sift and stir flour, baking powder and cocoa, then add to the wet mixture and beat until the mix lightens in colour and looks nice and fluffy
Grease the base of your loaf tin, pour in the mix and bake at 180c / 350f for 20-30 minutes. You'll know its done when it springs back when you touch the top, or a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean
