Russian Piping Tip Tulip Cake! - CAKE STYLE ─ Cake Style

Get out those Russian piping tips, and let's get cake decorating!
These piping tips might just be my new best friend. Piping this tulip cake was a piece of cake, pardon the pun, thanks to these fantastic tips! This is not my first tulip cake, in fact I made a video making larger tulips on a cake years ago. Problem was, they didn't actually look all that great. At least not to me anyway. Aren't we always our worst critic?!

Materials
• four 8" round sponge cakes
• buttercream ( http://cake.style/2016/03/01/sweet-bu... )

500g (1lb 3oz) light green - 1kg pink (1lb 1oz) - Sugarflair Pink, once cake is filled and iced, add more pink into 200g (7oz) for flower centres
500g (1lb 3oz) light green - Americolour Mint and Avocado, for crumb coat and leaves
200g (7oz) darker green - Americolour Mint and Avocado (don't fully mix in the colour) for leaves
150g (5oz) white - Americolor Whitener for leaves
• 9" round cake plate
• angled spatula and scraper
• Large Russian tulip piping tip
• piping tips - Wilton #1A for filling and #70 for leaves
• piping bags
• Cling wrap
• Scissors
