Redback Spider Roundup Monkey Tool Spider Lures & Egg Sac Openings EDUCATIONAL VIDEO ─ leokimvideo

It's Redback spider season again. 6 months ago I released some Grey House spiders into the garden where Redback spiders love to live. My hope was the Grey Widow spiders would stop the Redback spiders from building spider nests. I notice that the Grey Widows and Redback's can't live side by side. This video investigates the results of this experiment. I have new spider lures in the garden and I can see in very short time they are attracting both male and female Redback spiders. Because of the very early fire season in Australia I haven't been able to use my flamethrower to control the Redback Spiders. So I have to go back to my monkey tool method to remove spiders and break down their spider nests which have spider egg sac's. The most worrying aspect to this spider roundup is the maturity of the Redback spiders I find. These spiders are much older than the burn I did 6 months ago. These spiders must wander around moving to new locations to set up spider nests. With the spiders and egg sac's I find I deep dive and investigate how old the egg sac's are by seeing what's going on inside by doing multiple spider egg sac openings. The Redback spider is a close relation to the American Black Widow spider.
