The St Andrew's Cross spider is a Orb weaving spider that leaves a cross shape web pattern on its web. It's a very common garden spider in Australia and one that can be seen on it's web all day long. By pure chance I noticed some weird spider activity going on and witnessed 2 male spiders fighting over one female. It's was amazing and intense to witness. The female spider kept shaking the web and the male spiders kept returning to the female. The whole event only lasted 15 minutes and for one male spider ended in disaster. I learned lots from watching how the spiders moved during this spider mating fight.
Because of YouTube's savage demonetization systems there is lots I did not say in this video, even wiki links I have left off the info as well. This really highlights the problems with the clunky ML systems that YouTube use to determine what a video is really about.
