A Very Confused Redback Spider & Possum vs Opossum EDUCATIONAL VIDEO ─ leokimvideo

July 2019 was a really strange month. It was a time when record hot temperatures were reached around the globe. In Australia it was the middle of Winter and a bubble of hot temperatures was confusing mother nature in many ways. I noticed an active Redback spider near our homes back step. This was unusual because normally during Winter the Redback spiders recluse because it's too cold. The bubble of warm weather created consecutive days over 20 degrees C. This Redback spider thought it was the beginning of the spider season and was setting up it's webs in the middle of Winter. I set up an Arlo security camera to see this Redback spider making it's webs in the middle of Winter. So sure the spider did it's web work but there was no other critters about apart from slugs. The insect world goes very quiet in Winter months. The spiders chances of capturing a meal would be very slim. I also take a look at the Possums in the backyard and discuss the Opossum vs Possum debate. I do also talk about the Sun's solar cycle. And what is a tad curious is at the time of the very strange July in 2019 the Sun was at a very quiet and cool part of its 11 year cycle with very few sunspot activity. So let's just blame the butterfly that flapped its wings in Japan for this climate chaos.
