My Super Fast Thomas The Tank toy modification was a very popular video. But it's been struck down by the stupid demonetization bot and then failed the manual review that YouTube say is human eyes looking over a video. This pull down was one of many other very popular videos that have been triggered in 2018. I thought the worst was over with considering what was going on between August to December in 2017. Seeing this and also knowing the manual review process is totally flawed had me walk away from the site for 2 months. Sadly the silly senseless and stupid pull down of content is stronger than ever. If I'm seeing my basic toy review videos being demonetized there is something seriously wrong. When I fight to have videos re-monetized I then see them trip over again to demonetized and there is no second chance to have a manual review. I do not understand why Google / YouTube have employed such a sloppy and lazy method of finding content that's now in conflict with the many tiers of rules related to uploading to the site.

The machine learning bot is wildly out of control, the manual review process is worse, it's totally destroyed the good feeling I had in producing for the site and it's only getting worse. Yet Google / YouTube seem not to care who is wiped out with these changes. Sure there were some 'bad actors' gaming the system but the methods of working out the good from the bad has turned the site toxic.
