We have a family of Rats that have been eating the Cat food for a very long time. I thought other Cats were eating Fluffy Cats food until I put up some Arlo 2 security cameras. The cameras allowed me to see at night the way the Rats worked as a family to empty out the Cat food during the night. The sensitivity of the Arlo 2 cameras was excellent, it captured every movement the Rats made as they stole the Cat food.
For some reason our cat and other cats (Bluebell our neighbours Cat) had no chance at nabbing these very smart and stealthy rodents. The process of capturing these Rats became complex and took time. I kept using the Cat food to lure the Rats because that's what they were used to. I use a Rat Trap that cages the Rat for a release, but is this illegal to do. I know in some countries this style of humane pest control only leads to more problems and Rats have a clever way of returning to where they found food. Anyway this is Rat 2 of a small family of Rats that took far too many weeks to clear out.
