Trash & Treasure hunting is FUN, this special episode focuses on amazing FREE toys that are being thrown out in a neighbouring suburb's curbside cleanup. It's Winter, it's wet but there is toy treasures to be found. I do collect Disney Cars Lightning McQueen and I find a really curious Disney Park version. Thomas The Tank is the other toy I like to collect and I find a very common Light Up Thomas toy. Lots of McDonalds Happy Meal toys and that's no surprise. But it's when I move to a more secluded area I find a massive dump of toys. Amongst this dump I discover Thomas & Friends GOLD. An old TOMY Thomas playset is all there in a box and very wet. Overall it's in good condition. The TOMY blue track Thomas playsets are classic toys, it's a peek into the past of how amazing the Thomas toys used to be. The Japanese market still has these styles of toys but sadly other countries have the Mattel Trackmaster styles of Thomas and Friends toys.
I also look back at the Tonka Garbage Truck and Fire Engine I found in the monster Trash & Treasure video I did because I found these toys in store for sale. It hopefully puts a different perspective on what was thrown out as trash. I explain whirlybirds because there were quite a few comments related to them. And we will revisit that retro Sunbeam Mixmaster in an upcoming video. I hope some viewers answer my query in the video related to this cake mixer.

The dynamic of the rubbish piles has really changed since the Charity Shop has closed. Many of the toys I saw being thrown out could have another life. But sadly we seem to be tightly bonded to a throw away society.
