A few weeks after the April Redback spider roundup Mommy was moving some small pot plants under the lemon tree and luckily noticed a sneaky Redback spider setting up for Winter. This is a great example of how dangerous these deadly spiders are around flower pots. It's almost impossible to see the black spider against a black flower pot. This Redback spider was still fairly small, there was no established spider nest yet but the tell tale drabs of web with leaf litter can be seen. There was also a spider skin in the same zone. This spider was a great reminder to Mommy to always wear gloves when moving pot plants.
