Gonzo Bug 2 0 Freak Spider WM ─ leokimvideo

Ever seen a spider with 4 legs? Now how did this spider lose 4 legs is more the question here. In a dynamic duo of critter bug wonderment I stumble across what looks like a Gonzo Weevil. This critter has the exact same face and rocky feel as the Amazing Gonzo from week 5 of my Redback Spider study. What really freaky is how this beautiful aqua blue insect has the same wandering mind that Gonzo displayed. So the spirit of Gonzo lives on, h's returned to the planet in a far more awesome format. Gonzo will live on forever. Gonzo features in Week 5 of my Redback Spider videos, he showed everyone that in the face of death looking like a rock can be totally awesome.

A weevil is a type of beetle from the Curculionoidea superfamily. They are usually small, less than 6 mm (0.24 in), and herbivorous. Over 60,000 species are in several families, mostly in the family Curculionidae (the true weevils). Some other beetles, although not closely related, bear the name "weevil", such as the biscuit weevil (Stegobium paniceum), which belongs to the family Anobiidae.
Many weevils are considered pests because of their ability to damage and kill crops, but others are used for biological control of invasive plants. The grain or wheat weevil (Sitophilus granarius) damages stored grain. The boll weevil (Anthonomus grandis) attacks cotton crops. It lays its eggs inside cotton bolls, and the larvae eat their way out.

Entomology is the scientific study of insects, a branch of zoology. In the past the term "insect" was more vague, and historically the definition of entomology included the study of terrestrial animals in other arthropod groups or other phyla, such as arachnids, myriapods, earthworms, land snails, and slugs. This wider meaning may still be encountered in informal use.
